"Kiln" – The Modern "Alchemy Furnace"

Do you recognize this giant kiln? The temperature inside is as scorching as the alchemy furnace Sun Wukong once entered—it’s incredibly high! It can process various raw materials with ease. But if left unchecked, the heat inside would escape like Monkey King running wild, causing all efforts to go to waste.

So, how do we keep it under control? Let’s take a look at this lime rotary kiln. Limestone is precisely fed into the kiln through the chute at the kiln tail. Using the cylinder's inclination angle and continuous rotation, the limestone undergoes dynamic tumbling and axial movement inside the kiln. Meanwhile, fuel is sprayed into the kiln head through a specialized burner, creating a high-temperature environment. Heat is efficiently and uniformly transferred to the limestone through radiation, convection, and conduction. Under this controlled thermal environment, the limestone ultimately transforms into quicklime and is precisely discharged from the kiln head.

The kiln’s internal temperature is crucial for the successful transformation of limestone into quicklime. To maintain the heat within a controlled range, high-temperature insulation coating comes into play! Once applied, the coating forms a three-dimensional network of closed microbeads on the surface, creating a hollow structure. These nano hollow ceramic microbeads form stacked static air groups, acting as individual insulation units. The coating achieves an ultra-low thermal conductivity of 0.04 W/(m·K), effectively preventing heat transfer and ensuring excellent thermal insulation.

Moreover, the kiln's surface temperature is extremely high. After applying the insulation coating, its heat reflectivity exceeds 90%, preventing infrared radiation from heating the equipment and significantly reducing the surface temperature. High-temperature insulation coating quietly enhances the efficiency of rotary kilns, optimizing energy consumption and overall performance.
