Transformer Anti-Corrosion Solve
With the development of ultra-high voltage transmission and transformation technology in China, the size of high-voltage transformers in large power stations has become larger and more complex in structure. At the same time, with the implementation of China's "Belt and Road" initiative, more and more power station equipment is also starting to go overseas, and high-end transmission and transformation products have made a remarkable transition from "Made in China" to "Created in China." Intense market competition has proven that high-end power products not only need safe and reliable performance, but also require good surface coating quality. The corrosion protection coatings in the power industry are developing in the direction of high decoration and high protection, so quality control during the corrosion protection engineering process must be given high priority.

1. Transformer Corrosion Background
As a core component of the power system, the transformer plays a key role in distributing electrical energy, changing voltage, and transmitting power within the grid. In recent years, several cases of transformer failures caused by oil sulfur corrosion have been reported. Oil sulfur corrosion refers to the corrosion of metals (windings) due to the presence of corrosive sulfur in transformer insulating oil, which leads to a reduction in the insulation performance of the transformer and causes failures. Studies have shown that dibenzyl disulfide (DBDS) is the primary corrosive sulfur that reacts with copper windings in transformer oil.
