This is an industrial water pump, made from expensive titanium steel.

Unfortunately, due to fatigue corrosion and intergranular cracking,

previous pumps have already fractured and broken apart.

The technical director told us —

they used to fully trust titanium steel, thinking the material alone could resist corrosion.

But in reality, titanium steel is just stainless steel with titanium added.

It does have strong corrosion resistance and good performance-to-cost ratio —

but it's far from invincible.

In real-world operation, the flange surface became heavily corroded,

and bolts were completely covered in thick rust.

High temperature, high humidity, and chemical exposure took a far greater toll than expected.

Eventually, they decided to change

to address the issue at its source, by doing proper anti-corrosion work from the start.

We recommended a graphene-enhanced glass flake coating,

which is resistant to acids, alkalis, wear, and chemical attack —

offering 15 to 25 years of reliable protection.
